The Bauchi State Police Command recently arrested a 20-year-old ex-convict, Usama Mohammed, for alleged armed robbery and criminal conspiracy.
The arrest followed a distress call from a victim reporting a home invasion by a group of four armed individuals wielding knives and cutlasses.
During the robbery, the group stole valuables, including two mobile phones.
Usama Mohammed was apprehended by detectives from the Giade Division, while efforts are ongoing to track down his accomplices who remain at large.
The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police has transferred the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
