FCT Police Arrest Trader After Fatal Market Altercation

Utako Market Incident Leads to Trader’s Arrest

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested a trader from Utako Market in Abuja following the death of a fellow trader with whom he had an altercation.

According to reports, the two traders were involved in a heated argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. Shortly after the fight, one of the traders collapsed and was later pronounced dead.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of death and the circumstances surrounding the altercation. The arrested trader is currently in custody and assisting with the investigation.

The FCT Police Command has urged members of the public to remain calm and refrain from taking the law into their own hands, assuring that justice will be served based on the findings of the investigation.
