Femi Emmanuel on Nigeria’s Hunger Crisis and the Ibadan Stampede

Clergyman Femi Emmanuel: Ibadan Stampede Highlights Hunger Issues in Nigeria

In response to the recent stampede in Ibadan, clergyman Femi Emmanuel acknowledged the reality of hunger in Nigeria but expressed that the way people are reacting to it is being exaggerated.

He emphasized that while the country is facing economic challenges, the desperation shown in such events could be avoided with better planning and restraint.

Femi Emmanuel’s comments came after a stampede occurred during a food distribution event, which left several people injured.

He urged Nigerians to remain calm and advised that solutions to hunger and poverty should be pursued through constructive and organized means.
