The Anambra State Police Command has arrested four individuals for allegedly issuing threats of kidnapping and violence in the Ihiala area.
The suspects, identified as Chimezie Ezebuo, Chinaza Ndimani, Chinecherem Okafor, and Nzube Azubuike—all males from Okohia, Ihiala—were apprehended on April 10, 2025, following reports of their activities causing panic among residents.
According to a statement from the police, the suspects used mobile phones and SIM cards to send threatening messages, inciting fear and jeopardizing public safety. All four individuals have confessed to the crimes and are currently in custody for further interrogation.
The Anambra State Police Command emphasized its commitment to maintaining public safety and ensuring that individuals who incite fear or disturb public peace are held accountable.
