
Asari Dokubo Receives Certificate of Recognition from Gov. Fubara
On December 31, 2024, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara officially recognized Alhaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo as the Amanyanabo of Torusarama-Piri in Degema Local Government Area.
This recognition was part of a ceremony where four new traditional rulers received their certificates of recognition and staff of office.
The other traditional rulers honored during the event include:
- HRM Winston Odiye Alamina (Oputibeya XII): Amanyanabo of the Koniju Kingdom in Okrika Local Government Area.
- HRM Eze Noble Friday Uwoh (CSP rtd): Eze Igbu-Ehuda IV in Ahoada-East Local Government Area.
- HRH Prince Ike Ehie: Eze Igbu Orlukwor in Ahoada-East Local Government Area.
Governor Fubara urged the newly recognized monarchs to collaborate with the government in promoting peace and ensuring the safety of lives and property within their domains.
He emphasized that their positions should not be used for personal gain but to serve the community and the state.
