In a recent operation, Nigerian troops successfully rescued 25 kidnapped victims in Kaduna State, neutralizing several bandits in the process.
This effort was part of a series of operations under the banners of “Operation Forest Sanity” and “Operation Whirl Punch.”
The victims were freed during engagements in Birnin Gwari and Giwa local government areas. The troops also recovered weapons, motorcycles, and communication equipment from the bandits.
The Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, commended the soldiers for their dedication and praised the military leadership for their ongoing efforts to combat banditry and protect civilians in the region.
