Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a stern warning to the United States, stating that Iran will deliver a “strong blow” if attacked. This declaration comes in response to President Donald Trump’s recent threats to bomb Iran unless a new nuclear agreement is reached.
The tensions escalated after President Trump sent a letter to Ayatollah Khamenei on March 7, 2025, proposing direct negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. Iran rejected this offer, expressing distrust due to past U.S. actions, including the withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal.
Subsequently, President Trump reiterated his warning, stating that Iran would face unprecedented bombing if it did not comply with U.S. demands.
In response, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized Iran’s readiness to retaliate decisively against any U.S. aggression. He accused the United States of pursuing dominance rather than seeking genuine resolutions.
