The Kano State Fire Service reported significant fire incidents in November 2024, resulting in the destruction of property worth over ₦132.45 million and the tragic loss of three lives.
Despite these losses, the Service successfully saved property valued at over ₦310 million and rescued four individuals.
The incidents involved 43 fire calls, six false alarms, and five rescue operations across the state.
Authorities have emphasized the importance of fire safety, especially during the harmattan season, urging residents to handle flammable materials with care and promptly report emergencies to mitigate damages.
