The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has recently taken action against several establishments, including churches, hotels, and nightclubs, due to noise pollution violations.
The affected establishments, such as Honourable Lounge & Lodging, Celestial Church of God, and multiple hotels like Emota Paradise Hotel and Echo Spring Hotel, were sealed off for breaching environmental regulations despite repeated warnings.
This enforcement is part of a broader initiative to address noise pollution in various areas across the state, including Ogudu, Gbagada, and Isolo.
