In Lagos, Rosebud School in the Idimu area expelled three students after their father, Ayofe Kolawole, physically assaulted a teacher, Elizabeth Ogri, and a cleaner, Agnes Paul.
The incident occurred after Kolawole accused the teacher of attempting to “initiate” his child using a substance, which was later clarified to be kernel oil used to treat a whitlow on the teacher’s hand.
Despite the school’s efforts to mediate, the father became aggressive, assaulting both the teacher and cleaner.
A video of the incident went viral, leading to the expulsion of Kolawole’s children and his subsequent arraignment by the police.
