A man who was lost in the middle of the ocean was fortunate to be found by a passing vessel and he was rescued.
According to reports, the man had gone out on his speedboat and it capsized at Forcados Offshore, Delta State.
He used his fuel tank to stay afloat until staff aboard a vessel named MV Omenma, sighted him while going back to shore after a project.
He was reportedly in the water for four hours before he was found.
“Him body don dey white,” one of the staff on the vessel said about the man after they found him floating in the water.
“He don white finish,” another agreed as the camera showed the effect being in the water for so long had made on the man’s skin.
“Imagine being lost in the middle of the Ocean. This brother was lucky,” An X user who shared the video wrote.
Another added: “This happened at Forcados Offshore, Delta State. His speedboat capsized at 1200Hrs on that day…so he managed to use his fuel tank for buoyancy while drifting.
A vessel named MV Omenma was making way after a project, & she sighted him afar at about 1625Hrs for rescue.”
