Muyiwa Adejobi, the Nigerian Police Force Public Relations Officer, responded to a man on social media who described Nigeria as a “very useless country.”
In his reply, Adejobi disagreed with the negative characterization of Nigeria and urged the man to be more constructive in his criticism.
Adejobi emphasized that while the country faces challenges, it should not be labeled in such a derogatory manner.
Instead, he encouraged citizens to contribute positively to national development by being part of the solution rather than resorting to blanket condemnations.
He noted that every country has its issues, but calling Nigeria “useless” is unproductive and does not reflect the efforts of many Nigerians working hard to improve the situation.
His response reflects the view of many public figures who call for a more patriotic and solution-driven approach when addressing the country’s problems, advocating for collaboration and constructive dialogue instead of outright negativity.
