The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has declared four associates of Lagos-based drug kingpin Alhaji Suleiman Aremu Ganiu, also known as Barryshine or Ejeoto, wanted for their involvement in multiple drug trafficking activities. This action follows an order granted by Justice Akintayo Aluko of the Federal High Court in Lagos on January 28, 2025.
The individuals declared wanted are:
These suspects are currently at large and have been implicated in drug trafficking operations linked to Barryshine, who is presently facing multiple criminal charges at the Federal High Court in Lagos. The court has ordered that public notices with the suspects’ photographs be conspicuously displayed to facilitate their apprehension.
Barryshine was arrested on August 26, 2024, after being on the NDLEA’s watchlist for two years due to his alleged involvement in four failed attempts to export cocaine to Saudi Arabia and Qatar through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos between 2022 and 2024. Several of his drug couriers have already been arrested, prosecuted, and convicted.
The NDLEA urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals to contact the nearest NDLEA command, call the agency’s toll-free helpline at 080010203040, or send direct messages via social media platforms:
