Nigeria has been described as the most viable country for the aviation market in Africa by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo. He made this assertion during a statement highlighting Nigeria’s strategic position and its potential to lead the African aviation industry.
Keyamo emphasized that Nigeria’s large population, growing middle class, and expanding economy make it an ideal hub for both domestic and international air travel.
The country’s aviation sector is seen as having significant untapped potential, and Keyamo stressed the need for more investments in infrastructure and policy reforms to harness this potential.
He also pointed out that Nigeria’s central location within the African continent gives it an advantage in serving as a gateway for travel across the region.
The government’s focus on improving the aviation sector, including the development of airports and local airlines, is expected to contribute to Nigeria’s leadership in the continent’s aviation market.
