NiMet Forecasts: Prepare for 3 Days of Rain and Dust Haze Across Nigeria

Nigeria Weather Alert: Rain and Dust Haze Predicted by NiMet

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has issued a forecast predicting a mix of rain and dust haze across various regions in Nigeria over the next three days.

According to NiMet, parts of the country, especially in the southern and coastal areas, will experience light to moderate rainfall, while the northern and central regions will likely experience dust haze.

Dust haze, common in northern Nigeria during this season, could reduce visibility and impact transportation and daily activities.

NiMet advises citizens to take precautions, particularly for respiratory health, as dust in the air can exacerbate conditions like asthma and other respiratory illnesses.
