Ogun Police Detain 65-Year-Old After Death of Married Woman in Apartment

65-Year-Old Man Arrested by Ogun Police: 60-Year-Old Woman Dies in His Home

A 65-year-old man, Olalekan Ogunjobi, has been detained by the Ogun State Police Command following the death of a 60-year-old married woman, Serifatu Disu, in his apartment.

According to reports, Disu left her husband’s home to visit Ogunjobi at his residence in Fatima Castle, Konigba, Ago-Iwoye. Around 12:40 a.m. on Wednesday, she complained of chest pain and collapsed shortly after stepping outside the room. Despite Ogunjobi’s attempts to administer first aid, she lost consciousness and passed away.

The Divisional Police Officer of Ago-Iwoye was contacted and promptly arrived at the scene. Ogunjobi has been taken into custody for further questioning as part of the preliminary investigation.

The body has been transported to the General Hospital in Ijebu Ode for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
