Orji Uzor Kalu Claims Threats from Simon Ekpa Over Biafra Stance

Simon Ekpa Allegedly Threatens Orji Uzor Kalu for Opposing Biafra

Orji Uzor Kalu, former governor of Abia State, has accused Simon Ekpa, a prominent pro-Biafra agitator, of threatening him for not supporting the Biafra cause.

Kalu stated that Ekpa, who leads a faction of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), allegedly harassed him after he did not align with the group’s separatist goals.

Ekpa, who has been linked to violent activities in Nigeria’s southeastern region, has been condemned by the IPOB leadership for his actions, which they claim have harmed the peaceful Biafra movement.

Despite this, Ekpa continues to lead a faction that is involved in calls for Biafran independence, often using social media to spread messages linked to violence and unrest.
