Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his wife, Cristina Serra, have decided to separate after more than 30 years together. The couple, who have three children, reached this decision amicably in December 2024, following several months of careful consideration. Reports indicate that no third parties were involved in their decision to part ways.

As part of the separation, Guardiola is expected to move out of their £8.5 million family home in Barcelona. This property, located in one of Barcelona’s elite neighborhoods, was previously owned by former Barcelona player Rafa Márquez and was purchased by Guardiola through a company he co-managed with Cristina. The mansion spans over 22,000 square feet and features a large swimming pool.

Cristina Serra, who runs a fashion business in Barcelona, had been living separately from Guardiola for nearly five years, having returned to Spain in 2019 to focus on her company. Despite the separation, the couple maintains a cordial and affectionate relationship, emphasizing their commitment to their children’s well-being.

Guardiola and Serra first met in 1994 and were married in 2014 in a private ceremony in Catalonia. Their children are Maria (24), Marius (22), and Valentina (17). The family has been known for maintaining a low profile, with Cristina often staying out of the public eye despite Guardiola’s high-profile career.
