The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a man identified as Falade for allegedly impersonating a retired United States military officer and engaging in activities that terrorized the Idogun community in Ose Local Government Area.
According to the state Commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi, Falade was apprehended and subsequently prosecuted in court, leading to his remand at a correctional facility in Akure. Investigations revealed that Falade possessed a fake passport and collaborated with individuals posing as air force personnel to carry out his illicit activities.
Reports indicate that Falade and his associates abducted residents en route to their farms, confiscated their belongings, and fled with the stolen items.
