In Lagos, police have arrested a man for attempting to sell his former employer’s vehicle.
The suspect, identified as Arthur Benjamin, had stolen a Toyota Hilux from his workplace with plans to sell it and use the money to relocate his family to Ghana.
The arrest occurred after detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) received intelligence about the stolen vehicle.
The vehicle was traced to Ilukogun village, located near the boundary between Lagos and Ogun states.
The investigation is ongoing, with authorities looking into the involvement of other potential accomplices.
