N129bn Fake Currency Bust: Three Suspects Nabbed in Kano

The police in Kano State recently arrested three suspects involved in a massive fake currency scheme, with counterfeit bills worth approximately ₦129 billion discovered.

The arrests occurred at a printing facility in the Kantin Kwari Market area, following intelligence reports about large-scale currency counterfeiting activities.

The suspects allegedly specialized in printing fake naira and foreign currencies, using sophisticated equipment.

Authorities are intensifying investigations to uncover other members of the syndicate and will proceed with legal action once the investigation is complete.
