Police Crackdown: 113 Foreign Nationals Arrested for Immigration Violations and Cybercrime

Mass Arraignment: Over 100 Foreign Nationals Face Charges in Immigration and Cybercrime Case

The Nigeria Police Force has arraigned 113 foreign nationals and 17 Nigerians for alleged involvement in cybercrime and immigration offenses.

The arrests, which included suspects of Chinese and Malaysian origin, were made during a raid at a building near the Next Cash and Carry area in Abuja.

The operation was conducted by officers from the Nigeria Police Force Zone 7 Command and the National Cyber Crime Centre (NPF-NCCC).

The suspects were allegedly using sophisticated equipment to facilitate hacking and other cybercrimes that posed national security threats.

The operation recovered various exhibits, which are currently being analyzed as investigations continue. The police confirmed that the suspects would face charges once the investigations are concluded.
