Illegal Drug Spots Raided in FCT: Police Recover Live Ammunition

The Nigerian Police Force has conducted a raid on illegal drug spots in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, resulting in the arrest of eight suspects. The operation, which targeted criminal elements involved in illicit drug trade and other illegal activities, led to the recovery of significant exhibits, including 100 rounds of live ammunition.

According to the police spokesperson, the raid was part of ongoing efforts to clamp down on crime and ensure the safety of residents in the capital. The officers also seized large quantities of illicit drugs, which were being sold in unregulated markets.

The arrested suspects are currently in custody, and the police have assured the public that thorough investigations will be carried out to identify their connections and any wider networks involved in these illegal activities.
