Devastating Family Murders: Hitmen Shot by Police in KwaZulu-Natal

Two hitmen wanted in connection with the brutal murder of seven family members, including three children, were shot and killed by South African police during a gunfight in KwaZulu-Natal.

The hitmen were wanted for the execution-style killings of the Khambule family in the village of Hlokozi on September 11, 2024.

The victims, who were shot while watching TV, included three women, a man, and three children aged 5, 11, and 12.

The police, acting on intelligence, tracked down the suspects, who opened fire when approached. The police returned fire, killing both suspects.

A woman caught in the crossfire also tragically lost her life. Investigations into the crime continue, as another suspect remains at large.
