Police Rescue Six Victims from Kidnappers in Katsina State

Katsina State Police Foil Kidnap Attempts, Six Victims Saved

In Katsina State, police operatives successfully foiled two separate kidnap attempts, rescuing six victims in the process.

The incidents occurred along the Jibia-Kauran Namoda and Funua-Gusau roads. In the first operation, police, in collaboration with military personnel, engaged the kidnappers in a gunfight, rescuing four victims, although one unfortunately succumbed to gunshot wounds.

In the second incident, two additional victims were rescued unhurt. The police are intensifying efforts to track down the assailants and ensure their arrest.
