Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has expressed displeasure over comparisons between himself and fellow artist Asake, particularly regarding their facial tattoos.
Asake recently unveiled new facial tattoos, including dollar signs and the word “Believe,” leading some fans to draw parallels between the two artists.
In response, Portable stated, “Don’t compare me to Asake. I don’t look like Asake. I look like Lil Wayne. Stop comparing me to overrated artists.”
Portable’s reaction underscores his desire to maintain a unique identity within the music industry, distancing himself from comparisons with Asake and aligning his style more closely with that of American rapper Lil Wayne.
