Police in Rivers State have successfully rescued a six-month-old baby who was reportedly abducted by a neighbor and sold for 3.6 million naira.
Six suspects have been arrested in connection with the case, following a swift investigation that traced the individuals involved in the kidnapping and sale of the child.
According to reports, the neighbor, who was familiar with the family, orchestrated the abduction and subsequently facilitated the sale of the infant to buyers.
Law enforcement managed to locate the suspects and recover the baby, who has since been reunited with the family.
