Rufai Oseni Challenges NNPC: Operational Deadlines for PH and Warri Refineries

Rufai Oseni, a journalist and Arise TV news anchor, has expressed skepticism regarding recent announcements about the resumption of refinery activities at Nigeria’s Warri Refinery.

In a statement, Oseni remarked, “Until when the catalytic cracking unit of PH and Warri refinery starts to work then I will take the NNPC seriously. I don’t celebrate half measures.”

His comments follow an announcement by Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), on December 30, 2024, about the resumption of operations at the Warri Refinery.
