Successful Rescue: 10 Kidnapping Victims Freed by Kogi Security Forces

In Kogi State, a successful operation by security operatives, working alongside the private security firm Base SAN Security Nigeria Limited, led to the rescue of 10 kidnap victims and the arrest of four suspects.

This occurred in the Ajaokuta area, following credible intelligence that revealed the activities of a gang involved in kidnapping, armed robbery, and other crimes.

The state’s Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, highlighted that the collaboration between conventional security agencies and the private firm was pivotal in this breakthrough.

He emphasized that the rescued victims would soon be reunited with their families, and the suspects are currently cooperating with investigations.

Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration was commended for its proactive approach in enhancing security, which includes engaging private security firms to support traditional forces.

This operation serves as a clear warning to criminal elements about the state’s zero tolerance for crime.
