The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has reiterated that Simon Ekpa is not a member of their organization.
IPOB clarified that Ekpa’s activities are entirely independent and do not align with the group’s objectives or directives.
The group also cautioned the public and international organizations against associating Ekpa’s actions with IPOB, emphasizing that he operates on his own agenda and has no affiliation with their structure, including the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
IPOB’s leadership has consistently distanced itself from him, citing concerns over the potential misuse of their name for personal or malicious purposes.
