Social Media Influencer’s Shocking Downfall: 10-Year Prison Sentence for Murder Plot

Influencer’s Murder-for-Hire Scheme: A Social Media Scandal Uncovered

Social media influencer Ashley Grayson has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after being convicted for her involvement in a murder-for-hire plot.

Grayson, an online business owner, sought to have three individuals killed, including a Mississippi woman, over online criticism and perceived slights.

In 2022, she offered a couple in Memphis $20,000 per victim, but the hit was never carried out. Grayson was arrested after a series of recorded phone calls revealed her attempts to orchestrate the murders.

Despite no deaths occurring, the case highlighted the consequences of online feuds spilling into real-world violence.

Grayson was convicted in March 2024, and her sentence includes three years of supervised release.
