Sokoto Police Nab Fake Army Major: Inside the High-Profile Car Theft Syndicate

Shocking Arrest: Army Impersonator Behind Major Sokoto Car Theft Ring

The Sokoto State Police Command has arrested a suspected fake Army Major accused of leading a notorious car theft syndicate.

This operation was part of broader efforts to combat crime in the state. The arrest came following investigations into a spate of vehicle thefts and other criminal activities in the area.

The suspect, posing as an Army Major, used his fabricated identity to gain trust and access within communities, which facilitated the syndicate’s operations.

Police also recovered several stolen vehicles during the operation. The authorities are continuing their investigation to dismantle the entire syndicate and apprehend other suspects still at large.
