A South African man, Philemon Muladelo, has been sentenced to six life terms by the Limpopo High Court for the brutal killing of six of his relatives.
The horrifying incident occurred in December 2021 in the Malamulele area, Limpopo Province.
Muladelo, who was reportedly angered by a family dispute over inheritance, set his relatives’ home on fire, resulting in the tragic deaths of six family members, including young children.
The court found him guilty of six counts of murder and arson, describing his actions as premeditated and merciless.
The judge emphasized the need for a harsh sentence to send a strong message against such heinous crimes.
