Edo Police Capture Kidnappers Who Collected N10m Ransom

​The Edo State Police Command has apprehended three individuals suspected of kidnapping, following the collection of a ₦10 million ransom for the release of two family members. The arrests occurred in the Aviele community of Etsako West Local Government Area.

The suspects, identified as Utubor Uchenna and Felix Ebama, confessed to collecting the ransom during their last operation before their arrest. In response to these criminal activities, the Edo State Government has initiated the demolition of properties used by kidnappers to detain their victims.

The police, in collaboration with local vigilante groups, continue to intensify efforts to combat kidnapping and other criminal activities in the region. The public is encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to law enforcement agencies.
