Supernatural Disturbances Push Teachers to Leave School

Teachers at Kandana Primary School in Bulilima, Matabeleland South Province, Zimbabwe, are reportedly planning to abandon their posts due to disturbances allegedly caused by a supernatural entity described as a “female goblin.”

According to the teachers, the entity has been active since June 2023, frequently making noises at night, scattering kitchen utensils, and even simulating the sounds of cooking. Some teachers claim to have seen the entity in visions, describing it as female.

There are increasing concerns about safety, as the teachers fear that the situation could escalate.

This issue has raised alarm, particularly since similar reports of supernatural activity occurred nearby at Gwambe Clinic, where police officers allegedly fled after being assaulted by supernatural entities.

Local leaders are now considering hiring witch hunters to conduct an exorcism to address the problem.

The community is also appealing for financial help from members in the diaspora to resolve the situation, fearing that without intervention, the school could lose its teachers altogether​.
