Businessman Isaac Fayose has criticized social media personality Verydarkman (VDM) for a prank involving the alleged loss of N180 million from his NGO.
In an Instagram video, Fayose stated, “You don’t prank people with people’s money. When do you want to start working?”
VDM had earlier claimed that hackers had stolen N180 million from his NGO’s account, but later revealed it was a prank to gauge public reaction.
Fayose expressed disappointment, emphasizing that such pranks are inappropriate, especially when involving public funds.
He further remarked, “If this had happened abroad, the online critic would have been sanctioned.”
Fayose also questioned VDM’s commitment to his NGO, suggesting that the funds should be utilized effectively.
