In 2022, Snoop Dogg acquired Death Row Records, the label that launched his career. Initially, Dr. Dre, a founding member of N.W.A. and a key figure in Death Row’s success, was skeptical about the acquisition.
He questioned why Snoop would take on what appeared to be a “bag of problems” when he was already successful.
Over time, Dr. Dre’s perspective shifted. He now fully supports the revival of Death Row Records and has even requested a Death Row jacket.
