The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three individuals for allegedly vandalizing and stealing transformer cables in Wuro Dole, Girei Local Government Area. The suspects—Rabiu Ali (28), Muhammad Musa (42), and Abubakar Usman (18)—are accused of conspiring with three others, who are currently at large, to dismantle a transformer and remove armored cables for personal gain.
The arrest was made following credible information received by the police. The Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, commended the Girei Divisional Police Officer and his team for their effective policing efforts. He has directed the Deputy Commissioner in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department to take over the investigation and apprehend the remaining suspects. The arrested individuals will be charged in court upon the completion of the investigation.
