The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three individuals for allegedly flogging a salesgirl accused of theft in a boutique.
The incident, which reportedly occurred in Lagos, has drawn widespread condemnation, especially after a photo of the suspects and details of the incident surfaced online.
According to reports, the salesgirl was subjected to inhumane treatment after being accused of stealing from the boutique where she worked.
Instead of involving the police or proper authorities, the suspects reportedly resorted to flogging the young woman, an act that has been criticized as both illegal and dehumanizing.
