Tragic Argument: Man Claims ‘It Was an Accident’ After Girlfriend Set Ablaze in FCT

Love Turns Deadly: FCT Man Says ‘I Would Not Eat If She Hadn’t’ After Setting Girlfriend on Fire

The horrific incident in which a man set his girlfriend ablaze during an argument in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is deeply disturbing.

The man’s claim that “it was an accident” after carrying out such a violent act is alarming. No matter the circumstances or emotions involved, violence, especially domestic violence, should never be the answer to conflicts in relationships.

Such tragic incidents highlight the urgent need for greater awareness and interventions around domestic violence.

It’s critical for both men and women to understand that conflict resolution should be non-violent, and there must be systems in place to support victims of abuse.
