A tragic incident occurred in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, where a 28-year-old mother, Yulia, attempted to warm her 11-month-old son, Misha, using a hairdryer after he became cold during a walk. She placed the hairdryer near him and inadvertently fell asleep.
The continuous heat exposure led to severe burns on Misha’s body, resulting in his death. Yulia has been charged with causing death by negligence and faces up to two years in prison if convicted.
This incident underscores the dangers of using inappropriate methods to warm infants and highlights the importance of safe practices in childcare.
