Breaking News: Woman Slumps and Passes Away in Abuja Motorpark
On January 1, 2025, a middle-aged woman named Alice Emmanuel collapsed and died near the Benue Links Park in Area 3, Abuja. Eyewitnesses reported that she had just alighted from a vehicle in front of the park when she suddenly slumped to the ground around 9:25 a.m.
The park manager promptly alerted the police, who arrived at the scene and transported her to Karu General Hospital. Upon arrival, doctors confirmed her death, noting that no visible signs of violence were found on her body.
The spokesperson of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident, stating that the family of the deceased had been notified, and her remains were deposited in the hospital morgue.
The cause of Alice Emmanuel’s death remains unclear, though investigations are ongoing. Her sudden passing has left many shocked, especially as it occurred during New Year celebrations.
