A British SAS soldier, Staff Sergeant Chris Good, tragically lost his life during a parachuting accident on September 25, 2024, while competing in the 10th World Canopy Piloting Championships in Pretoria, South Africa.
Representing the UK at this prestigious skydiving event, Good was an experienced and highly regarded member of both the military and skydiving communities. He had served in the 22nd Special Air Service (SAS) after passing selection in 2004.
His death has deeply impacted his comrades and the skydiving community, with tributes from British Skydiving and his home base at Skydive Netheravon expressing their sorrow
