Authorities Criticized After Lawyer’s Fatal Accident in Anambra

A tragic road accident occurred in Anambra State, where a lawyer identified as Okechukwu lost his life after depositing his mother’s body in a mortuary.

The incident happened along the Awka-Enugu Expressway when Okechukwu’s vehicle crashed into an abandoned stationary truck, causing his car to somersault into a drainage.

Okechukwu had recently welcomed a newborn with his wife and was preparing for his mother’s funeral when the accident occurred, leaving his family in deep shock.

Witnesses and family members criticized the authorities for not removing the hazardous truck, which had been abandoned on the busy road for several days without proper caution signs.

The abandoned vehicle contributed to the unfortunate crash that claimed Okechukwu’s life​
