Troops from the 114 Battalion of the Nigerian Army, working alongside other security forces, recently carried out a successful operation in Taraba State.
They dismantled bandit hideouts in Yorro Local Government Area, rescuing four kidnap victims during an exchange of fire with the kidnappers.
The victims include Genesis Samuel, Bernard Denis, Esther Titus, and Isma’il Umar, the son of the Emir of Pupule, who had been abducted on January 18.
The operation forced the bandits to flee, and the army continues efforts to locate other victims.
Security forces are urging the public to provide timely and credible information to support these operations and enhance safety in the region.
