Troops Dismantle Bandit Arms Network in Zamfara

Weapons Recovered as Troops Target Bandit Suppliers

In a recent operation in Zamfara State, Nigerian troops successfully neutralized a key arms supplier to bandit groups and recovered a cache of weapons. The operation targeted the stronghold of notorious bandit leader Bello Turji, resulting in the dismantling of his base and the seizure of various arms and ammunition.

This development is part of ongoing military efforts to combat banditry and restore peace in the northwestern region of Nigeria. The Nigerian Army has intensified its operations in Zamfara and neighboring states, aiming to dismantle criminal networks and apprehend individuals involved in supplying arms to these groups.

The successful neutralization of the arms supplier is expected to disrupt the logistics and operational capabilities of the bandits in the area.
