Armed Robber Captured: Troops Act in Plateau

On March 24, 2025, troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) conducted targeted operations in Plateau State, resulting in the neutralization of a suspected bandit and an armed robber in Wase and Bokkos Local Government Areas, respectively.

In Wase LGA, the troops carried out a clearance operation in Kampani Zurak, where they engaged and neutralized a member of a banditry syndicate known for activities in both Wase and neighboring Taraba State.

Simultaneously, in Bokkos LGA, OPSH troops responded to a distress call regarding an armed robbery along the Bokkos–Richa road. Upon arrival, they encountered the robbers, engaged them, and neutralized one of the assailants.

These successful operations underscore the commitment of security forces to restoring peace and stability in Plateau State. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
