In recent operations across Plateau State, Nigerian security forces have successfully rescued multiple kidnapped victims:
March 12, 2025: Troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) rescued seven kidnapped victims in Riyom Local Government Area (LGA). Acting on credible intelligence, the troops engaged the kidnappers at the Attakar high grounds in the Ganawuri district, leading to the safe recovery of the victims, all hailing from Bauchi State.
February 26, 2025: Troops from the Nigerian Army’s 3 Division and OPSH neutralized two kidnappers and rescued a woman and her daughter in Gindiri, Mangu LGA. The operation was initiated following intelligence about the abduction in Gindiri Town.
January 17, 2025: Troops of the 3 Division Nigerian Army and OPSH rescued 18 kidnapped victims, including three septuagenarians, during operations between the borders of Taraba and Plateau States. The rescued individuals were reunited with their families after profiling and documentation by relevant agencies.
