The U.S. Embassy in Nigeria has announced updates to its visa processes, particularly concerning immigrant visa applicants.
Starting January 1, 2025, applicants must visit the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos at least twice during the application process. This includes submitting biometrics and attending a visa interview.
Additionally, changes in the visa services provider were implemented earlier, impacting appointment scheduling and application procedures.
Applicants are advised to familiarize themselves with the new requirements to avoid disruptions.
