Wayne Rooney, the 39-year-old former Manchester United and England footballer, was recently photographed urinating against a wall on a London street during a night out with friends. After attending the British Boxing Awards at The Langham Hotel, Rooney and his companions visited The Nest rooftop bar in Marylebone and later dined at Novikov in Mayfair, leaving around 2 a.m. During the evening, he was seen crossing the road, urinating against a wall while holding his phone, and then rejoining his friends.
This isn’t the first time Rooney has been caught in such a situation; he was previously photographed urinating in public against a bin in Manchester in 2013. Public urination can lead to fines or prosecution in the UK, depending on local laws and whether complaints are made by witnesses. As of now, no complaints have been reported regarding this recent incident.
Rooney’s illustrious football career includes becoming Manchester United’s all-time leading scorer with 253 goals and earning 120 caps for the England national team. Post-retirement, he has ventured into management, with stints at Derby County, D.C. United, and Plymouth Argyle. His managerial tenure has seen mixed results, and he is currently not managing any team.
